Za'atar Pizza Croutons
Rated 5.0 stars by 1 users
As a parent, there is almost always leftover pizza sitting in my fridge — we order at least once a week since it's such an easy dinner. Instead of letting the leftovers go to waste, I started turning them into these crispy za'atar pizza croutons. It's so quick, and you get something that feels totally new, and they're so fun to eat. Toss them on a salad or let your kids snack on them straight off the pan — either way, nothing goes to waste, and everyone is happy.
Ingredients
-
2 slices of leftover pizza, cut into ½ inch cubes
-
drizzle of olive oil
-
pinch of za’atar
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Cut your pizza slices into ½ inch cubes and spread them out on a baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with za’atar on both sides, and toss to coat entirely.
Bake for 10-15 mins until golden and crispy. Eat them on their own or use them as a salad croutons!
