Dill Pickle Tuna

My husband, Ido, LOVES tuna melts, so I knew I had to create a version he would go crazy for. I swear, this is the only tuna salad you'll want to make from now on.
Ingredients
-
1 can of tuna, wild caught (in olive oil)
-
2 celery stalks, finely chopped
-
½ lemon, zested and juiced
-
2 tbsps mayonnaise
-
2 tbsps sour cream
-
2 medium pickles, finely chopped (I love Israeli pickles for this)
-
1 tsp whole grain mustard
-
½ tsp onion powder
-
½ tsp granulated garlic
-
2 tbsps of fresh dill, roughly chopped
Directions
In a bowl, add the tuna and break it up with a fork.
Add in celery, lemon zest, lemon juice, mayo, sour cream, chopped pickles, whole grain mustard, onion powder, garlic powder, and fresh dill.
Mix well until fully combined.
Place a generous amount of tuna salad on the toast of your choice. I used a bagel. Add a slice of cheese on each side (I used marble), and broil in the oven or air fryer until melted.
Wait for it to cool slightly, and enjoy!
